Land Development Manager
Christopher joined Hoyer Investment Corporation in September 2020 as Construction and Land Development Manager. He is responsible for the successful execution of the company’s land projects in the coastal regions of South Carolina and Georgia. He brings eight years of experience in commercial and residential construction.
Chris was fortunate to grow his career while gaining hands-on, 360-degree experience in the land development process, from permitting to post-construction. He began his career as a land surveyor at Landmark Construction, progressing to site foreman over key sites, such as the Volvo manufacturing plant in Ridgeville. He went on to become field representative for Thomas and Hutton, where he worked closely with engineering designers and project managers to effectively manage communication between client needs and engineering teams.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Francis Marion University. He is also CEPSCI certified and understands the importance of committing to excellence in every step of the land development process, uniquely so in the coastal region in which he calls home.
