Matt was founder and Managing Member of the Charlotte (NC) based law firm St. Amand & Efird, PLLC, and he brings a wealth of legal and industry experience in residential and mixed-use development, land-use and zoning, project structuring and commercial real estate transactions (including portfolio transactions). Matt has represented major commercial developers and trade groups throughout the Southeast and Northeast and has represented or worked opposite most of the national/international homebuilders active in the Southeast.
Most importantly Matt has represented HIC Land for the past many years!
Matt will oversee all legal matters for HIC and will work directly with counsel for builders, lenders, counties, municipalities, and with outside HIC counsel in multiple states.
